What is Wiring & Maintenance Insurance?
Wiring within your home can experience wear and tear over time, and may need repairing. To do this you’ll need someone to come and fix your wiring, such as an electrician or technician organized for you by KOL. Our Wiring & Maintenance fee is an insurance service, so you pay a small monthly fee and if something goes wrong with your internal wiring or jack point we will cover the cost of repairs (parts and labour)
Wiring & Maintenance covers everything from the demarcation point (DEMARC) to your actual jack point. The Demarcation point is considered the point where the phone line enters your house.
Everything after the jack point is considered Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and is your responsibility.
